The Air Venturi Avenge-X Classic Synthetic Bottle 5.5mm, also known as the Nova Vista Avenge-X X1-BS 5.5mm. The Classic Synthetic Bottle version of Air Venturi / Nova's regulated Avenge-X PCP air rifle range.
As we know, the Avenge-X platform is available in a huge variety of configurations and options.
There's multiple calibres, tank or bottle HPA sources, Bullpup and "regular" versions, not to mention the choices of stocks. The modular design allows the gun to change to 3 different calibres and 8 different stocks. Furthermore, you can swap some of the parts with AR accessories. So, if you swap around stocks, air reservoirs, accessories, etc., you can get more than 80 different combinations, according to Nova Vista.
The Avenge-X is available in three calibres. No surprises here, they're .177 cal, .22 and .25. * Apart from multiple configurations, you also get extensive tuning capabilities, courtesy of adjustable hammer spring tension, regulator pressure and transfer port adjustment. Easily change the calibre through a simple barrel and bolt swap. You can also change the cocking lever from right- to left-handed operation easily.
Easily fill these rifles using a standard quick disconnect fitting. In addition, all pressure gauges are located in the side or base of the gun. There's no need to "look down the barrel" to check air pressure, as there is with many end-mounted pressure gauges. Of course, there's a side lever action, multi-shot magazine capability and a shrouded barrel. You get a high shot count, and it includes a high-capacity magazine, a standard magazine, a single-shot tray.
All this at a VERY attractive price. Whatever you can imagine is possible with the Avenge-X.
Manufacturer: Air Venturi or Nova Vista?
The new Air Venturi Avenge-X PCP air rifle was one of the highlights of the 2023 SHOT Show. So the fact that this outstanding modular-designed airgun also featured at the 2023 IWA OutdoorClassics Show was - in itself - not new news. However, according to Hard Air Magazine, what was most interesting for them was to meet the manufacturing company behind the Avenge-X at the German show.
In fact, the Air Venturi Avenge-X PCP air rifle is a product collaboration between Air Venturi in the USA and Macau-based Nova Vista Company Limited. This is unusual as they rarely acknowledge such collaborations in the industry. Normally the lines between the customer — Air Venturi - and the manufacturer - Nova Vista - are kept separate from public gaze.
Nova Vista also makes the Avenger for Air Venturi. They call it a Leviathan under the Nova Vista brand and also the Origin under the Umarex brand.
So, to spare consumers the confusion, the Air Venturi Avenge-X and Nova Vista Avenge-X are both made by Nova Vista. They are the same rifles with slight differences to some models branded by Nova Vista for Air Venturi (like carbon bottles.)
